Simon and Hazel at work

Twenty years, one Kent woodland.

Simon and Hazel Jeffrey make from their own coppiced sweet chestnut — felled, milled, and worked by hand, with the metalwork done in the same workshop.

It means we can take on the pieces nobody else will: the tree that came down in the garden, the compass off a father's boat, the gate that has to match a corrugated fence. If it can be made, we'll work out how.
