What we make

Boards & Homeware

Chopping boards, coasters and small pieces, many from storm and driftwood one-offs, hand-finished and food-safe.

At the smaller end of what we make are boards and homeware — chopping and serving boards, coasters, and personalised pieces, many cut from storm-fallen or driftwood timber that's too characterful to waste. Knots are filled with resin, surfaces sanded and finished in a food-safe oil, ready for the table. We also do hand pyrography rather than laser engraving: designs burned in freehand, from a set of coasters copying commemorative 50p coins to a name or a drawing for a gift. Ready-made boards and small pieces are sold through our online shop; anything personalised or made from your own timber is a commission. It's the same provenance as everything else we make — Kent sweet chestnut and one-off reclaimed wood, worked by hand.
