Some of the most meaningful work we do is memorial and commemorative — benches, markers and memory pieces made from timber that carries a story, often the family's own tree. We've made a table to cradle a late father's ship's compass at its floating angle, a boot bench from oak a customer's father planked himself after the '87 storm, and pieces that turn a storm-fallen tree in the garden into something kept and used rather than lost to firewood. This is careful, unhurried work, handled sensitively and priced properly.
